The McSweeney Regional Senior Center is a regional, multipurpose senior center that provides programs
and services to any person 60 years of age and older, regardless of income or geographical location.
McSweeney is a private, non-profit corporation, receiving Title III funding under the Older Americans Act,
administered through Eastern Connecticut Area Agency on Aging. The Center is governed by a Board of Directors
from the towns of Ashford, Chaplin, Columbia, Coventry, Hampton, Lebanon, Mansfield, Scotland, Willington, Windham, and the
borough of Willimantic. The Senior Staff consists of a Director, Dentist, Dental Assistant, Geriatric Physician, Geriatric

Dear Friends, "Family", Business Owners, and Supporters,
We are happy and excited to announce that the McSweeney Regional Senior Center is in the process of pursuing a new location! After 29 successful years of operation, we have outgrown our little nest here on Crescent Street. We have been fortunate enought to find a new space that will be larger, more up-to-date andmore efficient. The proposed new building will allow us to accommodate and provide services to the growing number of seniors in Eastern Connecticut. In anticipation of the evental move, we are now prudently looking to the future and beginning the process of assessing what our financial needs will be.
The Town of Windham is exploring the funding for a new building as well as a major grant for renovations. Grants provide support for our programs and your support enables us to keep our doors open. Together, as Community Partners, we can make a difference and we can make this well-formed vision a reality! 1. Cases of Kimberly Clarke multi fold towels, 4000, 1 ply at $21 per case at BJ's for our bathroom. 2. Coffee cups. 3. Postage stamps. 4. Ginger Ale. 5. Rolls of paper towels, napkins, and toilet paper. 6. Birthday cards. 7. Lemon Ade. 8. White, tall , kitchen wastebasket trash bags. 9. Juice 10. Pop corn 11. Cribbage boards 12. We need computers, printers, and monitors for the senior center. They must be within 5 years old, have the software that originally came with the computers, be running Windows XP, and be in good condition.
